
Chateau Belcastel is available for extraordinary events. The interior of the castle is available, as are the grounds and courtyards. Catering is not included or handled by our staff, although we provide a list of local companies that do. Some local restaurants may be available as well.

Standard Price
EVENING COCKTAIL RECEPTION (7-9pm*)
This basic plan includes access to the following areas & amenities:
The main lawn between moat/drawbridge and admissions building
Upper garden & medieval sanctuary (overlooking the moat & front lawn)
The large lighted inner courtyard
Upper catwalk with superb views of the landscape and village below
The 11th century medieval prison
The medieval cistern
A 9th century primitive chapel
Access to two public restrooms
Use of a professional refrigerator available on the day prior to the event
Access to the large kitchen for preparation, (cooking is additional fee)
Electrical outlets for buffet or live music if needed
Background music on main lawn provided from a host-provided CD
A free tour of the chateau for the host of the event, during normal hours of operation.
Up to 74 people:
300 Euros HT
75-100 pers:
360 Euros HT
101-150 people:
460 Euros HT
+ 50% of the total price for each additional hour
*Additional time and options may be added to the basic fee, which exclude 19.6% VAT. Every additional 2 hour block is priced at 15% less than the total reception fee.
Additional Options
+10% of basic fee for access to private lawn by swimming pool
+ 50% of basic fee for access to the interior main floor & inner courtyards:
- Knights’ room with table for buffet (or seat 12 people)
- Great Hall and table for buffet (or seat 12 people.)
- Blue Gallery, which may be set up with tables or used for dancing
- 2 inner courtyards
- 4 small rooms
- Background music on main floor provided from a CD
- Additional electric for live music, etc.
- A verbal presentation of the castle’s history to groups of guests, if desired
+ 15% of basic fee for full use of the chateau’s kitchen:
- 5 gas burners
- 2 electric burners
- 3 ovens; 2 gas + 1 electric
- 1 gas grill
- 1 dishwasher & 3 large professional sinks
- Additional refrigerator/freezer available for 25 Euros
For the host: enjoy a 10% discount on a stay at the tower suite. Offer good for one visit and based on current fee schedule and availability

Please contact us regarding pricing for the following types of events:
Cocktail reception with butlered hors-d’oeuvres
Outdoor buffet dinner for up to 125 people
A large sit down dinner for 80-100 people can be accommodated on the main lawn
Outdoor buffet: an enormous table may be set up on the main courtyard for 60+ people
A sit down dinner for as many as 12 people in the Great Hall
Wine & cheese tasting event
A chamber concert & cocktail party
A Fantasy costume party
Private Photo Shoot; 150 Euros per hour in the pool area. Limit 6 people, 10-7PM
Cooking Classes; 350 Euros HT. As many as 8 people for 3 hours. Cook in the chateau’s grand cuisine from 4-7 and dine in the Great Hall from 7-9PM
Payment & Logistics
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your event date
One month in advance the balance is required to be paid in full
One month in advance, a security deposit is required; same amount as the basic fee (which may be refunded to the card within a week)

Please understand the following before reserving the Chateau:
The Château Belcastel provides the unique setting & basic amenities for your event
At the end of the event a 15 minute grace period is provided for clean-up (a 25% of total fee will then be charged for every additional half hour)
Catering is handled exclusively by the host of the event (caterer must provide all food, service, drink, and food preparation/serving dishes for the event)
Storage space can be provided on the day prior to the event
Set up may occur during the afternoon of the event
After the event, tables, tents, etc may be left inside the main gate and picked up the following morning between 8am and 10am
Everything from the event must be removed from the property by 10:00 AM on the following day, at which time the Chateau becomes open to the public.
